Start before you spend anything
You can create an account, build a profile and add photos before choosing a plan. Take your time. A dating site should earn your money, so read the plan details here before you decide whether this one suits you.
When you are ready for more, you can pick VIP or the fuller VIP Plus tier, each offered in five lengths.

How to pick a plan length
A one-week plan suits you if you want to look around during a homestand before you commit. A month covers a stretch of the regular season, with room to trade messages and set up a first date. The three-month and six-month plans carry you from the opening weeks into the stretch run, and the 12-month plans cover a full season plus the summer, when adult leagues keep going and the draft gives you something to talk about. Pick the length that fits how long you expect to look, not the one with the smallest number on the page. Every plan up to six months renews at its listed price until you cancel, and the 12-month plans end without renewing. You pay the full plan price at checkout.
Renewals, in plain words
Any plan from one week up to six months is billed again for the same amount when its period ends, and that repeats until you cancel. The twelve-month plans do not renew. When a year runs out, your membership simply ends unless you choose to buy again.
That difference matters for budgeting. If you buy a one-month VIP plan for $39.95 and forget about it, you will be charged $39.95 again a month later. If you buy the twelve-month VIP plan for $229.95, there is no second charge at the end of the year.
How to cancel
You can cancel a renewing plan from your account settings at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the features you paid for until the current period ends. If you have trouble finding the setting, contact support from inside your account. We recommend cancelling at least a day before the renewal date to be safe.
Which plan should you choose?
That depends on how you date and how long the season feels.
Trying it out? A week of VIP at $19.99 lets you test the paid features without much risk. It renews weekly, so set a reminder if you only want the one week.
Dating through the winter? The NHL regular season runs from October into April. A three-month or six-month plan covers a large part of that stretch in a single purchase.
In it for the long haul? The twelve-month plans cover a full year and do not renew, which some people prefer.
Choosing between VIP and VIP Plus? VIP Plus costs a little more and unlocks more of the site. If you are unsure, start with VIP; you can upgrade later.
Paying from outside the United States
This site is written for people in the US, and the prices above are in US dollars. If you happen to visit from another country, for example while traveling to an away game in Canada, checkout will show your local currency instead. Our sister site, Hockey Dating Canada, lists its own prices for Canadian members.
What we will never do
- We will never ask you to pay by gift card, wire transfer or crypto.
- We will never message you asking for card details.
- We will never sell you tickets.
If someone claiming to be from the site asks for any of those, it is a scam. Report it and read our trust and safety guide.

A word about value
A dating plan is not like a streaming subscription you leave running all year. Most people use one in bursts, when they are ready to meet someone and have time to message. Pick the length that matches the time you actually have. If your league plays three nights a week through March and you know you will barely log in, a shorter plan in spring may serve you better than a long one now.
Think about the cost the way you would think about a night at the arena. One month of VIP costs about the same as a pair of upper-level seats at many NHL games, and it may lead somewhere a single game never could. Or it may not, and that is fine too. Start small if you are unsure.
Comparing prices with other sites
Different sites charge in different ways, and general apps often have several tiers with names that change. We have written comparisons with Hockey Singles, Tinder and Bumble that cover how each one charges and what you get without paying, without quoting rival prices that could change at any time. Check each site directly before buying.
How billing shows up on your statement
Charges appear on your card statement as a single payment for the plan you chose, in US dollars if you are paying from the United States. Renewing plans show a new charge at the start of each period. If you see a charge you do not recognize, check your account first to confirm which plan is active, then contact support if it still does not match.
Keep your receipt email. It lists the plan length, the price and, for renewing plans, the date of the next charge, which makes it simple to cancel before the renewal if you want to stop.
Seasonal timing
Some people time their plan to the hockey calendar. They buy a month in early October, when the season starts and everyone feels hopeful, or a few months in January, when the holidays are over and the long middle of the season begins. Others wait until the Stanley Cup Final ends in June and they finally have evenings back. There is no wrong answer. Pick the moment when you have energy to meet people.
